What we mean by AI-native

AI-native here means you build with agents by default. We expect 100% of the code to be generated via agentic tools (Cursor, Claude Code, and similar), while you own everything that actually matters: problem framing, architecture, tradeoffs, review quality, tests, performance, and security. This is not “vibe coding.” The code is generated. The thinking is yours. You should be great at steering agents, validating output, catching subtle issues early, and debugging code you did not manually write.

Work Location

In our Mumbai (Chembur), India Office.

Primary responsibility would be:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance React Native applications for Android and iOS.
• Architect scalable and reusable components, ensuring best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and support team skill development.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Own end-to-end feature development, from requirement analysis to deployment and post-release support.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and responsiveness.
• Handle app releases, versioning, and CI/CD processes for mobile platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the mobile stack.
• Contribute to technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and process improvements.

Prioritized Experiences and Capabilities:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development, with significant experience in React Native
• Leverage AI-native development workflows, including agentic IDEs and coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code), to accelerate delivery while maintaining code quality, security, and engineering standards.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and React Native core concepts.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or similar.
• Proficiency with React Native CLI and mobile build tools such as Gradle, Xcode, and Git.
• Solid knowledge of native Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) fundamentals, including bridging native modules in React Native.
• Experience implementing responsive and adaptive mobile UI designs.
• Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring developers or acting as a technical point of contact.

Good to Have

• Experience using TypeScript in production applications.
• Prior experience with Expo or similar React Native build frameworks.
• Familiarity with Hermes and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and test cases for mobile applications.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, real-time technologies (e.g., WebSockets), and mobile networking.
• Exposure to mobile UI/UX best practices; a portfolio of mobile apps or UI work is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile deployments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
